regroups311 trainingprogramsdivided

topics:

In 2015, the IOWater-FNWTC has desi-
gned and proposes 23 new courses in
its catalogue.
As part of a training curriculum, the sessions
can be selected to achieve, over several
months or even a year or two, a customized
training program according to the needs.
In the catalogue, you can also find
qualifying training programs,
proposed
to meet regulatory requirements and
needs for professional skill validation:
handling of chlorine in bottles, ”Certificate of
Competence forWorking inConfined Spaces”
(CATEC®), determining of taste and odor of
drinking water, water sampling, sampling of
hazardous substances in the environment,
welding of polyethylene tubes and butt wel-
ding, maintenance of backflow preventers,
control of facilities supplied by another water
resource, control of connections to the sewe-
rage system, treatment and control of water
in swimming pools, river hydrometry: the job
of gauger.

tion and selective sorting, maintenance of
facilities, treatment and reuseofwasteand
wastewater treatment sludge, leachate,
biogas, odor treatment, etc.

Air:
measurement of pollution inopen air.
l
Noise:
noise at work inwater and sanita-
tionutilities.
l
Sites and soils:
pollution appraisal and
removal frompolluted sites and soils.
l
Energy:
electric energy savings, strategy
for theuseof renewable energy.
l
Sustainabledevelopment:
carbon foot-
print, sustainable development approach,
sustainable purchase, landscape integra-
tion into hydraulic structures, stormwater
recovery.
In 2015, the IOWater-FNWTC is propo-
sing 8 new sessions especially focusing
on safety
:
first-aid Officer, maintaining and upgrading
first-aid skills, Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE), prevention of risks related to manual
handling, transportation of dangerous goods,
awareness to Explosive Atmospheres (EA),
crewmember for first fire response, welding
and butt welding of high density polyethylene
(HDPE) tubes for abiogas system.
In2015, FNWTC is alsoproposing2new
trainingprograms:

One for operators of aWaste Storage Faci-
lity (WSF);
l
Anewone foroperatorsof biowaste treat-
ment facilities.
As part of theseprograms, sessions can
be selected to complete a trai-
ning path according to the
needs and availability over
oneor two years ormore.
