CONSERVING ECOSYSTEMS OF INLAND WATER BODIES IN CENTRAL ASIA AND THE SOUTHERN CAUCASUS

An aim of this report is the analysis of current conditions of inland waters' ecosystems (aquatic ecosystems) and developing the proposals on their preservation and protection against the increasing devastation processes. The report focuses on the most important factor for preserving aquatic ecosystems – meeting their needs in freshwater resources, or in other words, available water supply to ecosystems.
