WOMEN AND WATER : A POLICY ASSESSMENT

Drawing upon the background of needs, interests and potentials of women in relation to water, different agencies at national and internationals levels have framed different kinds of policies. This paper attempts to evaluate those existing policies using a micro-perspective analysis, and proposes “facilitation of role performance” as a suitable policy alternative.
