Fish aggreagating devices (FAD), "semi-heavy" models, have been anchored all around La Réunion Island since 1988. For maximising profits derived from them, "light" FAD less expensive have been designed and locally unused fishing gears were tried. The use of this latter appears to be limited in local context, but in contrast the use of "light" FADS seems an interesting way. Their design calculus are given. NOT CONTROLLED OCR
