La pêche locale réunionnaise
A local fishery is carried out by small boats in the immediate vicinity of the island of Réunion (Indian Ocean). Practising conditions, species marketed, fishing gears and boats are described. Following the historical trend in production since 1949, the 1988 situation is detailed. Data result from a one year sampling survey on landing spots of which methodology is annexed. Investigations are continued by an economical analysis of the fishery showing great possibilities of incarne disparities among the fishing boats.
