IN SITU SEQUENTIAL TREATMENT OF A MIXED CONTAMINANT PLUME
Sandy field experiment is polluted by cleaning solvents and waste petroleum hydrocarbons. Design of the funnel-gate structure with aerobic treatment method via two sparge units. Description of field sampling and anatycal methods. Laboratory columns study was conducted to measure the DCE and VC degradation rate constants. A microcosm experiment was conducted to investigate the potential for contaminant biodegradation in the biosparge unit for toluene , DCE and VC degradation.
