PROGRESS IN SENSOR TECHNOLOGY - PROGRESS IN PROCESS CONTROL ? PART I : SENSOR PROPERTY INVESTIGATION AND CLASSIFICATION
Dynamic simulation of activated sludge systems as a proven tool for testing and optimising control strategies. The ideal or simplified sensor model which are comenly used represent a limiting factor as regards comparability to field application.Description of sensor be applied to optimise existing control systems consisting of measurement and control equipment. Others sensors models are designed with respect to the COST benchmarck simulation framework. Test of various control strategies in a standardised environment. Definition of six classes of sensors in order to specify the requirements of the control strategies on the mesuaring system.
