PHARMACEUTICALS DEGRADATION BY UV AND UV/H2O2 TREATMENTS
Pharmaceutical organic compound oxidation in aqueous solution. Advanced oxidation using UV or H2O2/Uv was carried out to remove thiol molecules. Influence of operating conditions such as contact time, reactive concentrations were studied. Intermediate by-products were tracked and best conditions were determined to get a complete mineralisation of organics.
