Survey of the water and sediment of 11 rivers of the south of France The quantification of organotins shows a range of concentrations between 0,2 and 30 g Sn /L in water samples and 30-40 µg/kg in sediment samples Phenyltins and octyltins are also detected in some samples These pollutants result from agricultural activities and leaching of organotin-stabilizedPVC by water.
