Nutrient removal in large domestic wastewater treatment plant. Evolution and extension of an existing urban wastewater treatment plant in Vienna.The performances are presented as a function of the European Union directives. The sludge are incinerated after thickening and dewatering. An economic approach is presented and discussed.
