This modelling study analyses the processes using to the transport of aromatic hydrocarbons in the unsaturated soils. For the numerical simulations SWMS-3D, a code for simulating water flow and solute transport in a variably saturated medium, was used. This model incorporate coupled multispecies transport, microbial degradation following Monod kinetics and gas diffuse transport of oxygen and hydrocarbons. Complexity of reactive transport in the unsaturated zone
