FLOW AND TRANSPORT SIMULATION MODELS FOR PREDICTION OF CHLORINE CONTACT TANK FLOW-THROUGH CURVES
Flow model in chlorine disinfection system. A numerical simulation of turbulent flow was proposed for a chlorination tank used in water treatment. Different modelled tank configuration was tested against realistic processes. Comparisons, in terms of residence times and disinfection performances, between calculated values and experimental data are given.
