EXTRACTIONS OF CR(III) AND OTHER METALS FROM TANNERY SLUDGE BY MINERAL ACIDS
The influence of first sludge solids concentrations as well as sludge type (dry and wet) on the extraction of Cr(III) using minéral acid and second the solid-liquid separation were studied. Experimentals results are presented and they show that H2SO4 is the most suitable acid between. The optimal pH is between 1 and 3 and the leaching yield of Cr(III)decrease with the increase temperature.
