ENGINEERED BIORETENTION FOR REMOVAL OF NITRATE FROM STORMWATER RUNOFF
Stormwater runoff treatment. In order to remove by denitrification, nitrate coming from stormwater, a bioretention pilot unit is carried out using plant and soil base support. Influence of residence time is studied on the performances of such a simple system. 80 % of nitrate and nitrite removal is found.
