DENITRIFICATION OF POLY-BETA-HYDROXYBUTYRATE IN MICROBIAL GRANULAR SLUDGE SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR

External carbon source (Poly-b-hydroxubutyric acid, PHB) is required for denitrification in sludge granules. Organic carbon and nitrogen were consumed simultaneously for denitrification, PHB storage and for cell functions.
