ARSENIC REMOVAL FROM GROUNDWATER BY A NEWLY DEVELOPED ADSORBENT
A novel adsorbent (1,8 mm diameter) prepared by treating activated alumna with aluminium developed for adsorption of phosphorus from wastewater is expected to remove arsenic. Physical and chemical properties. Lab-scale experiments to treat groundwater-containing arsenic (method, materials). Results: adsorption capacity, effect of pH, adsorption rate.
