ADSORPTIVE SEPARATION OF ARSENATE AND ARSENITE ANIONS FROM AQUEOUS MEDIUM BY USING ORANGE WASTE

Arsenate and arsenite anions separation. Orange waste and cellulose chemically modified by phosphorylation and loaded with Fe(III) was used to chelate arsenate and arsenite ions. Removal tests show that a high pH favoured the elimination of arsenite. Arsenate removal was greater at pH ranging from 2 to 6 depending of the solids.
