ABOUT THE APPLICABILITY OF COMMONLY USED PRESSURE-FLOW MODELS TO PLANE SINGLE-LAYER FILTERS OF ACTIVATED CARBON FABRIC
Pressure drop in activated carbon fabric. Head losses through single layer filter were determined experimentally with air and water in different operating conditions. Classical models were used to determine equation coefficients but seem to be inappropriate. Gooding and Comiti's models allow to approach the hydrodynamic behavior of fabric as changes in the structure of cloths with fiber deflection.
