The analysis bears on consequences on the service running, its price and the institutional organisation. / Après avoir rappelé les déterminants de l'intercomunalité, l'auteur souligne la complexité de l'organisation intercommunale tenant à la diversité des statuts des EPCI, à leur agencement et à la dynamique de recomposition. De ce constat de terrain, les enjeux de l'intercommunalité au coeur de la gestion des déchets sont analysés au travers des conséquences sur le fonctionnement du service, sur la tarification, sur l'organisation institutionnelle.
