Data collection for the European Eel in France

The population of the European eel is in decline. The EU Commission has included the eel in the Data Collection Regulation. A three-day Workshop in Sånga Säby (Stockholm, Sweden), 6 8 September 2005, compiled an overview of current national data collection, and developed recommendable requirements for future monitoring and sampling.
