Comparizon of regularized inversion methods in Synthetic Aperture Imaging Radiometry.
This article is concerned with the reconstruction of radiometric brightness temperature maps from interferometric measurements. The corresponding inverse problem is often ill-posed unless a regularizing constraint is introduced in order to provide a unique and stable solution. Standard regularizing approaches are compared and illustrated with numerical simulations carried out in reference to the SMOS space mission led by the European Space Agency.
