Aide au dimensionnement et à l'optimisation d'une installation de tri-compostage : modélisation des trommels

Used in the field of the waste management, in particular for the biological treatment process, the trommel is the basic facility implemented to sort impurity by size classification. It is included in the process for the compost sorting after the biological degradation as for the primary sorting of waste. The research in the field of process analysis of waste treatment is at its beginning. The development of a phenomenological model of trommel dedicated to municipal solid waste allows a more accurate knowledge of the performance of such facility. The result of the modeling allows to take into account both the characteristics of the trommel and the characteristics of the waste input to predict the quantity and the quality of the output products. / Mis en oeuvre dans le domaine du traitement des déchets par tri-compostage, le trommel est le premier équipement utilisé pour trier les impuretés par séparation granulométrique, aussi bien pour l'affinage du compost en sortie de fermentation qu'au niveau du tri primaire. L'analyse de procédé dans le domaine du traitement des déchets en est à son début. Pourtant, les performances de tri ont une influence cruciale sur la qualité des produits. Un modèle de trommel dédié aux déchets est proposé. Ce modèle, intégré au simulateur USIM PAC du BRGM, est un instrument d'aide à la conception et l'optimisation de procédé destiné aux bureaux d'études, aux experts, ainsi qu'aux exploitants d'unité de tri-compostage de déchets ménagers.
