ZUR ANWENDBARKEIT DES GRADEX-VERFAHRENS IN OSTERREICH

Description of the NICOMAT (Nitrate Concentration Matrix) process to improve raw water quality by surface management and interactive visualisation through drawing up balance nitrate loads and/or their reaction products entering the groundwater aquifer. Case study of the "Fuhrberger Feld" water catchment area of the Hanover Utilities (Stadtwerke Hannover) to illustrate the method to be taken in the Frameword Directive to control the quality of the groundwaters. Calibration of the process and aid to develop a geographical information system.
