WATER-SENSITIVE URBAN PLANNING : MODELING ON-SITE INFILTRATION

Description of the HMM code rainfall-runoff which simulates transformation of the total rain to the effective rain and into the input hydrograph in urban site. Two runoff management alternatives are examined: impermeable areas are connected directly to the drainage network or roof drains are connected to the previous areas. Three levels of spatial resolution are analyzed . Discussion on annual infiltration over residential lot with different hypothesis on pervious area and roof area. Functionnal relationship between annual infiltration, annual rain and physical parameters of urban watersheds.
