WATER RIGHTS, INVESTMENTS AND MEANINGS : CONFLICT AND CHANGE IN A TRADITIONAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM IN NORTHERN MOROCCO
Analysis and criticism of irrigation system in Morocco. It is in mind that rights on water belong to the initial investor, then external investment lead to tensions and contradictions over water rights. New irrigation management are proposed and socially acceptable solutions exist. However, conflits are so anchored that the compromises seem only temporary acceptable.
