WATER POLLUTION PROBLEMS POSED BY SMALL INDUSTRIES : A CASE STUDY OF INDIA AND CHINA
The author points out the serious environmental issue of small scale industry in developping countries. In India and China, these industries can't avail themselves of the pollution control technologies developed in the west. Moreover, there has been very little research into low-cost pollution-control technologies or strategies for this sector.
