TRENDS IN INSTRUMENTATION, CONTROL AND AUTOMATION AND THE CONSEQUENCE ON URBAN WATER SYSTEMS

On-line sensors for water and wastewater systems. In order to get a better operation and control of the quantities and qualities of urban water, instrumentation and automation have been developed. Some new trends in this field were presented and discussed with a factual example. It is shown that the on-line sensors and automation are a relatively low level but with a high potential of development.
