THE TRANSPORT AND BEHAVIOUR OF ISOPROTURON IN UNSATURATED CHALK CORES

Presentation of batch experiments for microcosm degradation on columns filled with unsaturated undisturbed cores of chalk. A bromide tracer is used to evaluate the retardation factor of isoproturon. Two of the four columns are eluted with non-sterile groundwater. Observed values are compared with simulated results with the leachp code. Discussion on the bad restitution of breakthrough curves of the pesticide.
