SUSTAINABLE WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION : THE EXAMPLE OF RUSSIA, ESTONIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES

Increasing shortages of water and deterioration of water quality across the world are prompting a resurgence of research on aquifer systems. In this matter, new aquifer types have to be studied and research programmes have to investigate the water resource on a larger scale. BRGM, active in this domain, develop such projects.
