IS SEMI-FLOCCULATION EFFECTIVE AS PRETREATMENT TO ULTRAFILTRATION IN WASTEWATER TREATMENT?
Ferric chloride flocculation is used as a preatreatment to ultrafiltration in treating synthetic wastewater.
The effect of flocculant dose (ferric chloride) is studied in terms of organic removal and membrane flux decline. To understand the phenomenon of the flux decline of ultrafiltration, the Molecular weight distribution of the influent is ranged.
