Round 2 concerns?
Proposed in December 1999, the second round of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) biosolids regulations would require periodic dioxin monitoring and limit dioxin concentrations in land-applied biosolids to less than 300 parts per trillion toxic equivalents (TEQs). This article looks at the risks related to dioxin in land-applied biosolids.
