REMOVAL OF PHOSPHATE BY SEAFOOD PROCESSING WASTED SLUDGE
Phosphate adsorption. A low cost adsorbent, seafood wasted sludge, is used to remove phosphate in batch reactor. Influence of particle size and adsorbent doses are studied. An empirical model is proposed to predict elimination as a function of time. Precipitation of calcium phosphate does not seem to be the significant mechanism.
