RECOVERY OF CLINDAMYCIN FROM FERMENTATION WASTEWATER WITH NANOFILTRATION MEMBRANES
Clindamycin recovery from fermentation wastewater. Four nanofiltration membranes were tested to remove clindamycin (an antibiotic) in different operating conditions. Clindamycin was concentrated from 226 L to 26 L, i.e. from 220 to 1940 mg/L. Applications of such techniques are proposed for pharmaceutical wastewater treatments.
