QUESTIONS OF WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT. FEEDBACK ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FRENCH SAGE AND SDAGE PLANS (1992-2001)

This article presents the 1992 Water Law and its planning and operationnal whom objectives are to promote participative water management and local development. After a summary of water management history, two examples are presented to illustrate the SAGE and SDAGE plans.
