POST-FIRE RAINFALL INTENSITY-PEAK DISCHARGE RELATIONS FOR THREE MOUNTAINOUS WATERSHEDS IN THE WESTERN USA
Improvement of the predictions of the magnitude of flooding that follows wildfire for three mountainous watersheds. Problem of the increasing in human population at risk in the wildland-Urban interface. Rainfall-Runoff relations by measuring the maximum 30 mn rainfall intensity and the unit area peak discharge. Definition of threshold showing that the flood peaks increases more rapidly with increases in intensity. Proposition of a rain gauges network on watersheds after a wildfire.
