POLAR NITROGEN COMPOUNDS AND THEIR BEHAVIOUR IN THE DRINKING WATER TREATMENT PROCESS
Presentation, with respect to drinking water treatment conditions, of the behaviour of selected aliphatic and alicyclic nitrogen compounds during the treatment steps of microbial degradation, flocculation, ozonation, and disinfection (chlorine, chlorine dioxide). The aim of the studies was to get information applicable to drinking water treatment processes under realistic concentrations of the compounds and plants operating conditions.
