Phosphorus removal in a constructed wetland. In order to control phosphorus in wastewater, a filtration through sand in a reed bed is proposed. The choice of sand is performed using the Langmuir equation to determine the maximum adsorption capacities in different sands. An approach of mechanisms integrating the calcium interactions is discussed.
