PERFORMANCE OF ADVANCED WATER TREATMENT PLANT FOR REMOVING FE, MN AND ORGANIC POLLUTANTS FROM RAW WATER

Advanced water treatment plant. Iron, manganese and organic matter were removed by aeration, filtration and ozonation - biological activated carbon filter. For Fe2+, Mn2+ and dissolved organic carbon the efficiencies reached 95 % and 85 % respectively. GC/MC analysis showed with this treatment steps that the organic species decrease and especially hazardous pollutants.
