OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT PLANT FOR IRON AND MANGANESE REMOVAL

This article presents a biological filter system approach to meet Chinese national standards for drinking water. Simultaneous removal of iron and manganese were studied by monitoring the performance of a full scale plant. Experimental results are presented and discussed.
