A NOVEL ION EXCHANGE PROCESS FOR AS REMOVAL
Investigations of ion exchange to treat As(V) in a solution containing SO4 in order to maximize the ion exchange capacity and minimize waste brine are presented.
The precipation of calcium or barium sulfate from the brine and the reuse of the brine solution is also studied.
Experimental results are discussed.
