NEW MOC MODEL OF SEAWATER TRANSPORT IN COASTAL AQUIFERS

Description of a miscible transport, numerical model for simulating regional transient seawater transport in heteregeneous , anisotropic , confined of unconfined coastal aquifer. Development of governing equations , simulation of flow and seawater entry and total transport by the mean of finite difference method. Presentation of numerical tracking of moving packets and computation of concentration change due to advection numerical implementation and mass balance. Comparison between computed isochlor with reported numerical solutions in 3 cases (Henry's problem, Huyakorn and Biscayne aquifer). Simulation of seawater circulation and sensitivity of computed values to porosity are done.
