NATURE AND DYNAMICS OF WATER SEDIMENT INTERFACE IN COMBINED SEWERS

Description of the water-sediment interface in waste water flowing into a combined sewer network. Measurement reveal an immobile and mobilizable organic layer on the surface of mineral deposite in trunk. Flush experiments have shown it can be eroded by small rainfall and equations are proposed to quantify the organic load impact (SS, VS, COD, BOD5).
