MODELLGESTUTZTE ANALYSE DES GEBIETSWASSERHAUSHALTES FUR EIN EINZUGSGEBIET IM BERLINER NORD-OSTEN
This paper reviews the results of a hydrological analysis of the catchment of the Uetzengraben brook in the north-east of Berlin. This area had been used for land-treatment of sewage since the beginning of the last century. The aim of these studies was to formulate management strategies by linking the interactions between groundwater and surface water in the model surrounding of ArcEgmo. The simulation demonstrated that the mean runoff has decreased by 80 % against the 1970s and 1980s. Several scenarios for supporting the water balance provide an information basis for assessments and decision-making.
