MOBILITY OF TRACE METALS IN RETENTION POND SEDIMENTS

Urban and runoff pollutions (lead, copper, zinc, cadmium, chromium and nickel). 3 study sites : 2 urban retention ponds in Wissous (near Paris) and Cheviré (Nantes)- 1 infiltration pond on the A1 motorway. Descriptions of the sites and sampling methods, chemical analyses, BCR sequential extractions, organic matter extraction. Results : trace metal mobility, trace metal concentrations in the various fractions of humic substances. Organic fractions are extracted according to the IHSS protocol (mg/kg of dry matter).
