ISSUES OF USING DIGITAL MAPS FOR CATCHMENT DELINEATION
Digital elevation models or maps (DEMs) Choice of computer-generated boundaries and map resolution. This article presents an application to a case study : the Brue catchment (south-west of England), comparison of results from different methods (rater or vector with different scale). Results show that no computer-generated boundaries were able to delineate robustly the catchment boundaries and a finer resolution map may generate a lower-quality results.
