INHIBITION EFFECT OF CHLORINE ION ON HYDROXYL RADICAL GENERATION IN UV-H2O2 PROCESS
Use of the spin trapping method to measure the dimethyl-pyrroline oxide (DMPO)-OH adduct in the UV-H2O2 process and investigating the effect of chlorine ions on OH radical generation to establish a high reactor performance with a prompt treatment of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (such as dichloromethane) without any remaining intermediates.
