INFLUENCE OF PRE-TREATMENTS AND RECYCLED FLOWS ON THE COD FRACTIONS OF A WASTEWATER : A CASE STUDY
Experimental tests were operated to estimate the influence of the primary settling tanks and the recycled flows from the sludge treatment processes on wastewater fractions.
The mathematical analysis of the kinetics experiments leads to readily and slowly biodegradable DCO and active heterotrophic biomass concentration. A mass balance of the DCO fraction was established. Experimental results are discussed.
