INCORPORATING LONG-TERM TRENDS IN WATER AVAILIBILITY IN WATER SUPPLY PLANNING

The different factors affecting water availability in a long-term planning horizon are examined. From this review, the study suggests that climate change is likely to impact relatively less than other factors. In view of future water availability shortfalls, the paper urges for appropriate management systems to be established.
