IMPACT OF HYDROGEN PEROXIDE ON NITRITE FORMATION DURING UV DISINFECTION
Possibility of controlling the levels of nitrite produced during UV disinfection by addition of hydrogen peroxide (H202). The results show that nitrite production during nitrate photolysis is enhanced by the addition of H2O2. Thus, this method can't be considered as a means of reducing nitrite production during UV disinfection.
