HYDRAULIC CALIBRATION AND FLUENCE DETERMINATION OF MODEL ULTRAVIOLET DISINFECTION SYSTEM
Ultraviolet disinfection and hydraulic behaviors of a contactor. To determine the impact of hydraulic dispersion on performances of an UV system, a model was tested. Dispersion coefficients were determined from a tracer study and incorporated in the model equations with kinetics of a MS2 bacteriophage inactivation. Good agreements were found between calculated and experimental data.
